Zayshawn visited Ravetown Party Goods to retrieve a Christmas Tree Ornament for Miranda’s tree in her dorm. After getting a rushed message from Miranda that she was in trouble, he ran all the way from Valerian to Morning Glory to try and save her. They eventually knocked the ornament off and sealed it away.

Although Zayshawn was sad about not being approved for a clubroom, he still needed to study due to the months of schoolwork he missed. It was at one of these study sessions that he and his group discovered a path to The Archive hidden within the Valerian Library.

It was during his summer vacation on a private beach where him and his friends heard the tale of Paratheo over the campfire. Wanting to see it for himself, he planned to set out in the morning to find it alongside Sadie Periwinkle who was also interested in the legend. When Sadie was unexpectedly attacked by Paratheo, Zayshawn dove into the water after her to save her and bring her back to the boat.
