In the depths of the ocean surrounding Poppy Valley resides a crafty, aquatic beast with an insatiable appetite for stealing precious belongings. Paratheo the Soul Hoarder, “Theo” for short, is alleged to be a gargantuan mutated fish easily surpassing 100 meters in length. Although Paratheo’s build is strong enough to crush buildings, it still chooses to move stealthy rather than aggressively (as if it unaware of it’s own strength).

A popular online theory from Theo-based fanclubs is that Paratheo is actually a pacifist that takes precious belongings from negligent owners so they gain a greater appreciation for what they have. But after several counts of sailors having entire boats pulled underwater with them onboard and loved ones being snatched from families, the death toll has deterred many from enjoying the coastline peacefully. Many recreational beach locations such as Poppy Valley’s very own “Aquator Seaside Resort” have shut indefinitely down due to loss of business.

It is rumored that Paratheo frequents private islands of the wealthy, since there are a lot of items with material value that are easily accessible.
