During a school trip to Happy Pappy Emporium, Zaire was one of the students trapped inside the building overnight and forced to fight against the animated toy mascots. After almost being hugged to death by Doting Dan, she managed to burn down the doll and escape the facility with the others.

Since Zayshawn had fallen behind in his schoolwork, Zaire was instructed by their parents to oversee Zayshawn’s studies. While her intentions were to help, her constant yelling caused the group to be punished with a pop quiz by Professor Tomoe. The book they were issued to study with happened to be the key need to open the secret bookshelf door.

After finding a valuable-looking keychain in the Jimsonweed hallway, Zaire was furious when she found out it was snatched directly out of her pocket by the swindler Dilara. After a long and brutal fight between the two, the girls settled their differences (completely forgetting the reason they were fighting in the first place)

As a lone wolf, Zaire does not take compliments and acts of kindness well. After several times of telling Opal to stop bring friendly to her, she took it upon herself to sneak up on him and slam the words into his head.
